Each man should be responsible for protecting his own valuable human rights. To be outraged, to be strangled, to be abused, or to be in desperation; all these do not differ from an act of suicide in which you disable yourself needlessly. The mystery of life is invisible and once the flame has gone out, it cannot be rekindled. Simply hoping for a peaceful solution is like a Buddhist prayer to a horse’s ear, useless. Therefore, I believe people should acquaint themselves with instinctive skills to protect their precious human rights. In order to accomplish this, I have dedicated my life to making Hakkoryu the common sense of mankind.

(Hakkoryu Jujutsu was a martial art started by a student of the famous Sokaku Takeda (who also instructed the founder of Aikido). He also studied an eclectic mix of other martial arts and his school still operates today north of Tokyo. )
